1x4 8mm wood dowel jig
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is a jig for wooden dowels in 1x4 lumber
This tool is for drilling holes at 9.5mm, which is half of the standard 19mm for 1x4 lumber, allowing placement anywhere, not just the center
To allow drilling holes in both the side and surface of the 1x4 lumber, the jig also has holes on its top and side
Since the thickness is 10mm, setting the drill depth to dowel hole depth + 10mm will result in the perfect depth
The holes are for M8 10mm spacers The inner diameter is 8mm and the outer diameter is 10mm

The clever part is leaving a gap equal to the thickness above the side support so that holes can also be drilled in the middle sections of the 1x4 lumber
The photo shows a two-tone color because the filament ran out mid-print, but it has no special meaning
Since I originally made it for myself, I didn't add any chamfers, so the corners are sharp and a bit uncomfortable
