Description

A 3D-printed fan shroud designed to provide active cooling for the LSI 9305-24i SAS HBA (and similar full-height PCIe cards). These cards run notoriously hot, especially in compact or low-airflow chassis where passive heatsinks alone aren't enough.

 

The shroud ducts airflow from two Noctua NF-A4x10 FLX 40mm fans directly over the card's heatsink, significantly reducing operating temperatures. The sides feature a isogrid ventilation pattern for airflow exhaust while maintaining structural rigidity.

Print Settings:

  • No supports needed
  • PETG or ASA recommended for heat resistance near warm components
  • PLA will work but may soften over time in high-temp environments
