Boost Me (for free)

If you like the design, do me a solid and boost me!  It costs you nothing and it makes us both feel good!  That and I really appreciate it.

Rummoli is a fun, old-school Canadian card game that's perfect for family nights or game get-togethers. It's basically a mash-up of poker, rummy, and a bit of stops-style play, for 2–8 players.

You need a standard deck of cards (no jokers), some chips/coins/poker tokens, and the Rummoli board with its nine pots (including the center one called "Rummoli").

This travel version allows you to easily bring this easy to assemble family favourite along in a compact format!

I've included 3 different denominations of chips to use.  You also use any markers (coins, chips, pebbles, etc.) you may aleady own.

Plate # 7 has blank parts so you can create and customize your own designs should you choose too.   Enjoy!

This model was made in collaboration with Rick. Check out his page and download his model of the super slick carrying case for this model.  It's a perfect companion for storing and transporting this game!

Quick how-to-play rundown :

Everyone tosses one chip into each pot on the board to start.

The dealer deals out the whole deck (some folks might get an extra card—no big deal), plus one extra "widow" hand off to the side.

There's often a quick swap/auction for that widow hand to give someone a better shot.

Then comes the poker phase: Everyone looks at their cards and shows their best 5-card poker hand. The strongest one wins the poker pot—nice little payout right there.

Next is the main rummy-style phase: The poker winner starts by playing their lowest card. Everyone takes turns laying the next card in sequence in the same suit (like 5♥ → 6♥ → 7♥ and so on). When you can't continue, you switch to the lowest card in the opposite color suit. Play keeps going around, building runs and claiming any matching pots when you play the key card for that spot (like the Ace of Spades for the spades pot).

The first person to get rid of all their cards wins the big center Rummoli pot (and usually ends the round).

It's easy to pick up, gets exciting with the pots building up, and everyone stays in the action the whole time. Super casual and

great for all ages once you get the flow.

Enjoy printing and playing—happy gaming!
