Print Profile(2)

Description
*Note March 17 2026: Original upload was missing the logo cutout in the chest piece. Fixed and re-uploaded.
Continuing to grow my army of the amazing Dummy 13 models around my workspace, here is another remix based on my love of Boston sports.
This remix is once again based on the original https://makerworld.com/en/models/638587-dummy-13-version-1-0#profileId-564186 and is modeled after the Boston Red Sox baseball team, with an inset in the chest for the team logo, an optional custom stand with inset for the Red Sox logo as well, and in this one I'm including miniature Red Sox color remixed Baseball Bat and my original design Red Sox Baseball Cap model.
If you are new to Dummy 13 please check the original model for detailed information related to Dummy 13, assembly etc.
The frame (and optional stand) is recommended to be printed in PETG for improved strength and durability, with all armor and accessories being PLA.
There are lots of small parts, so if you are using a non-sticky plate, make sure your plate is very clean and you may consider using liquid glue stick on your plate, i do this for most of my prints and the adhesion is almost flawless this way. I do have periodic adhesion issues with the forearm armor since they have thing surface area touching the bed, so be warned :).
- Frame:
- In my print I used Sunlu Black ElitePETG
- Armor Color -
- In my print i used the following color combination for the armor:
- Sunlu White PLA+: feet, toes, knees, thighs, hips, waist, crotch, and “gloves”
- *you can use either White or a Light Grey for these parts, both match the Red Sox uniforms nicely, with grey being a closer match, I just like the contrast of the white and wanted more of a difference from my Patriots remix.
- Sunlu Red PLA High Speed: head, neck, “sleeves”, “sox”
- 3DHoJor Blue PLA: abdomen, chest, inner chest, upper arms, shoulders
- Sunlu White PLA+: feet, toes, knees, thighs, hips, waist, crotch, and “gloves”
- In my print i used the following color combination for the armor:
- Chest and Logo - The logo badge should fit nicely into the inset on the chest, be careful as you could break the chest piece putting these together if you press too hard, support the chest as you press the parts together, and glue behind the logo should be optional, it fit snug in my print.
- Chest Logo Badge - I recommend 0.2mm nozzle for the chest badge Logo for the fine detail, otherwise it is muddled. Everything else, except for the baseball cap, prints well with 0.4mm nozzle. You should print all your parts from Bambu Studio as normal and make sure to switch to 0.2mm nozzle for the chest logo before printing it.
- I am including a separate profile with tuned settings for the chest logo, and baseball cap, for printing directly from Bambu Handy to 0.2mm nozzle.
- Baseball Cap and Logo - The B logo badge will be glued to the baseball cap; press together firmly until it sets.
- Baseball Cap- You'll need glue to assemble the cap. I recommend 0.2mm nozzle for the baseball cap, and cap Logo for the fine detail, otherwise they are muddled. Everything else, except for the chest logo, prints well with 0.4mm nozzle. You should print all your parts from Bambu Studio as normal and make sure to switch to 0.2mm nozzle for the B cap logo front, and the baseball cap before printing them.
- The cap prints with a small hole/gap in the area where the B will be glued, this is normal due to the thin wall. There is enough surface area to glue the 2 parts together.
- After printing both parts of the cap with 0.2mm nozzle, place a small dab of glue on the back of the B Logo Piece (not too much so it doesn't ooze out the side or inside the cap).
- Press them together firmly, trying not to get glue on your fingertips, until the glue sets.
- I am including a separate profile with tuned settings for the baseball cap and its logo, for printing directly from Bambu Handy to 0.2mm nozzle.
- Adhesion - I use Bambu glue stick on the plate for most of my prints, some of these small pieces may come loose, so be warned, though having a very clean plate should suffice.
- Stand - I included an optional stand in this print with inset cutout for an optional the Red Sox logo badge you can press fit into it.
- The optional baseball bat and baseball cap are included in the main profile, like the chest logo use a 0.2mm nozzle for the cap (the bat prints fine with 0.4mm nozzle), I will also post a separate profile for Bambu Handy direct printing of the 0.2mm nozzle parts.
