Bike Light Mount for Carbon Fork – Busch & Müller

This mount is compatible with Busch & Müller lights it mimics original GoPro mounting points. It allows installing the light on the bottom fork mounting point of a carbon fork. The adapter positions the light securely and keeps a clean, low-profile installation. The upper contact surface of the mount is shaped to match the curvature of many carbon forks. The radius of the contact surface is R = 64 mm, allowing good contact with the fork surface and improved stability when tightened. The design was tested on a Rondo Ruut carbon fork, where it fits the fork curvature well and provides a solid mounting point for the light.

Hardware

The mount uses standard bicycle hardware:

• mounting bolt: M5 × 20 mm
• counterbore for bolt head: 8 mm diameter

The original bolt from the light is compatible with the mount.

Printing recommendations

The example model was printed using Sunlu Rapid Matt PETG filament. Print profile is strength oriented. For durability and outdoor use it is recommended to print the part using at least:

• reinforced PETG, or
• ABS / ASA
