Description

Were you looking for a blackout badge overlay for the "HEV" emblem on your new 2025 Toyota Camry, but found that the available options were way too expensive or had crazy international shipping costs? I ran into the exact same issue, so I decided to design my own!

This model is a fit overlay designed to cover the factory "HEV" emblem on the trunk of the 2025 Toyota Camry. It's the perfect solution if you're doing a chrome delete and want to give your car a sportier, modern look without overpaying.

To ensure this overlay survives the harsh automotive environment (summer sun, freezing winters, and car washes), I highly recommend the following settings:

Material: ASA, ABS, or PETG. Do not use PLA – it will warp and melt on the first hot summer day!

Layer Height: 0.08 mm - 0.12 mm (for a smooth finish on the curved edges, less sanding).

Infill: 0% ().

Walls: 1

Top layers: 0

Bottom layers: at least 5, sanding before painintg

Supports: Generally not required if you print it face-down (front of the letters touching the build plate).

🛠️ Installation Instructions:

Print the model.

(Optional) Lightly sand the edges or apply a primer and black paint (matte or gloss) to achieve a smooth, OEM-like plastic finish.

Thoroughly clean and degrease the factory chrome emblem on your car (Isopropyl Alcohol / IPA works best).

Apply a thin, strong double-sided tape inside the printed overlay (3M VHB automotive tape is highly recommended).

Align the overlay over the original logo, press firmly, and you're done!
