Udo the Dwarf

Description
German:
The sign was actually meant as a warning. "ANTI-SNAILS" – short, concise, unambiguous. Udo had specifically painted a small red circle with a slash through the snail symbol. He stood there, day after day, with a grim expression and folded arms, guarding his beloved succulents. He was sure his plan would work.
But this morning he saw them: A small, shiny slime trail snaking behind the sign. And on the back, a small note was stuck: "Thanks for the cool sign! We always wondered who our enemies are. Now we know! – The Snail Gang." Udo's anger knew no bounds. His plan had backfired!
English:
The sign was supposed to be a warning. "ANTI-SCHNECKEN" – short, concise, unmistakable. Udo had specially painted a little red circle with a slash through the snail symbol. He stood there, day after day, with a scowl and folded arms, guarding his beloved succulents. He was sure his plan would work.
But this morning, he saw it: A small, shiny slime trail snaking behind the sign. And on the back, a tiny note was taped: "Thanks for the cool sign! We always wondered who our enemies were. Now we know! – The Snail Gang." Udo's rage knew no bounds. His plan had backfired!
