Modular Cable Raceway Tube System – 8.3 mm
A simple modular system for cable routing, designed to keep small wires tidy and protected
The system consists of linear tubes with a male/female connection, which allows multiple segments to be joined together to create raceways of the desired length
The cable remains completely enclosed within the tube, maintaining a clean appearance and preventing the wire from falling out or getting tangled
A 90° curve module allows for changes in direction, while the support clips keep the tube aligned with surfaces using double-sided tape or glue
The system is optimized for fast and reliable FDM printing with a standard 0.4 mm nozzle

Technical Specifications
Internal diameter: 8.3 mm
Wall thickness: 0.84 mm (2 perimeter lines with 0.42 mm extrusion width)
Suitable for cables up to approximately 2 mm in diameter, such as:
- LED wires
- USB cables
- sensor cables
- small electronics wiring
Print Settings
Recommended settings:
Nozzle: 0.4 mm
Layer height: 0.2 mm
Perimeters: 2
Infill: 0% (walls only)
Supports: not necessary
Print orientation: vertical, to optimize build plate usage and print multiple pieces simultaneously
Recommended materials:
- PLA
- PETG
Assembly
- Insert the cable into the tube segments
- Connect the modules using the male/female joint
- Install the support clips on the surface using double-sided tape or glue
- Insert the tube into the support clips
The connection utilizes the natural surface roughness of FDM layers to generate sufficient friction to keep the modules stably connected
