This 3D-printed mat features small colored divots every 10 mm, creating a clear visual grid that helps you quickly measure parts, align components, or keep track of spacing during projects. Each divot is 1 mm, making them easy to see and feel without interfering with your work surface.

The mat acts as both a protective layer for your workspace and a convenient measuring guide. It’s great for electronics work, hobby building, model making, crafting, and general bench use.

Because the grid is integrated directly into the print, there’s no need for separate rulers or measuring tapes while working. The colored divots make measurements quick to read at a glance.

Simple, functional, and perfect for any maker’s workspace.

For the print shown, I used Bambu Lab PLA Tough+ in Silver for the main body of the mat and Bambu Lab PLA Basic in Black for the measurement divots. The silver surface gives the mat a clean look while the black divots provide strong contrast, making the 10 mm grid easy to see at a glance.

I chose PLA Tough+ for the main body to give the mat a bit of extra durability and resistance to cracking or flexing during regular bench use. However, standard PLA is also a perfectly good option and is often reported to have slightly better heat resistance, so feel free to print the entire mat in regular PLA if that better suits your setup.
