Description

Easter Bunny Mesh Mold

Elevate your 3D prints with this DIY mesh Easter bunny! 🐣 Shape two hollow shells using heat, fill them with candy, and snap them together with clips.

🛠️ Materials & Printing

  • Molds: Print in PC (Polycarbonate) to withstand hairdryer heat without deforming. 🔥
  • Mesh Blank: Print in PLA.
  • Assembly: Soften the PLA blank with a hairdryer, press into the molds, fill with sweets, and secure with the included clips.

⚠️ Mandatory Slicer Settings

To achieve the mesh effect, these settings are required:

  • Top & Bottom Layers: 0
  • Wall Count: 7
  • Note: Changing these will ruin the mesh structure! 🚫

🎨 Customization

Feel free to experiment with the Infill Pattern and Infill Density to change the look of the bunny's "skin." ✨

top and bottom shell layer must be 0 select an infill pattern that suits you and set the wall count to about 7 then you should get a correct mesh

If I use the hairdryer and then press the mold on, the edge of my mesh blank always deforms with it. Am I doing something wrong? I can't get the mold in as easily or as deep as shown in the video

Would PETG work too? I am hesitant to print PC/ASA etc. I do have 2 enclosed printers, but no external filter attached to them due to space limitation.
