This is a collet locking clip with flow direction indicator. It helps prevent the accidental release of a pipe from a push-fit fitting like the ones from Speedfit & Flomasta. It fits 15mm pipe fixings. Simply push the clip into place. There's a small notch that makes removal easy.
You can print it in different colours to categorise your pipes.
