Description

Orthopedic Insole for Pronated Feet

My left foot is clearly pronated, and it wrecked too many shoes.

These insoles are very easy to print, use very little filament and greatly improved my foot angle.

I have been testing and wearing them for more than 2 months now and they are holding up great (slightly molded to the shape of my feet, the raised curve is intact).

I highly recommend you print these in TPU. There's a crosshatch pattern making them extremely breathable.

You could print them in PLA, but I would recommend you place it below a thin foam sole for comfort. TPU is perfect for this application.

šŸ“ How to make it work for you:

  • Measure your foot or the sole already inside your shoes (or measure your foot)
  • Select the Left or Right profile (these contain the corrective insoles)
  • Select & print the plate with the length closest to your measurements
  • I would recommend printing also a flat sole for the opposite foot to keep heel height even

Here's a table with US and EU shoe sizes

⚠ Sizes are approximate. Measure your foot and use the Scale tool in your slicer to fine-tune the fit.

Hope this helps someone out, I'm happy to share this on this platform in the great hopes of helping people help themselves, and save some shoes.

šŸ“ For perfect sizing, you can use the SCALE tool in BambuStudio:

  • Select the size closest to your measurements
  • Click on the model (not the plate, the actual insole)
  • Click on SCALE tool in the top menu
  • UNCHECK uniform scale (to not scale the corrective bump curve)
  • Enter your measure length and width
  • You should be ready to print

Big thanks to @OT_Jray for correcting me on the medical terms, I previously called this model and my problem SUPINATED, turns out it was PRONATED (pronation).
