3-Section Swimbait with Soft Silicone Tail

STL mold file included

A handmade 3-section swimbait with a soft silicone rubber tail, primarily designed for pike and black bass fishing.

Technical Specifications

  • Lure type: 3-section swimbait
  • Target species: Pike, black bass
  • Length: 220 mm
  • Weight: 110 g
  • Buoyancy: Floating

Materials Used

For more details, please refer to the photos.

  • Lead weights: 10 g and 5 g (Cheburashka-style sinkers)
  • 3D eyes: 10 mm

Mold

For the mold, I recommend using PLA+.

To assemble and tighten the mold, you will need:

  • 4 × M4 screws
  • 8 × washers
  • 4 × wing nuts

Silicone Rubber

I recommend using 15A two-component silicone for the tail.

Weighting

  • 3 × 10 g lead weights
  • 1 × 5 g lead weight

Rigging

  • Hooks: size 2/0

Assembly Instructions

  1. Insert the lead weights and lure eyelets into one half of the lure body.
  2. Apply cyanoacrylate glue and join the two halves of the lure.
  3. Clamp the parts together to ensure proper adhesion and alignment.
  4. Once the glue is fully cured, insert the screw eyes into the dedicated holes using glue or, preferably, epoxy resin.
  5. Apply a full epoxy resin coating to ensure complete waterproofing of the lure.
  6. Connect the three sections of the swimbait using two 1.6 mm stainless steel wires.

Good luck and tight lines! 🎣
