Description

With this adapter, you can replace the front speakers of a Porsche 996/986. In my case, I used ETON PFX10 (100mm) speakers.

While I am aware that similar models already exist, I wanted to create my own design that eliminates the need for gluing the speaker in place.

Please note that the total height of the speaker must not exceed 45mm, as there is very limited space within the dashboard.

Printing Recommendations

I printed this model using Polymaker PLA-HT-GF and Bambu ABS-GF to ensure the part does not warp under intense summer heat. Other heat-resistant materials should also work well.

Additionally, you will need eight M4 heat-set inserts along with the corresponding screws for assembly.

Print Profiles

There are two profiles available:

Polymaker PLA-HT-GF: really easy to print, my recommendation
Bambulab ABS-GF: Also easy to print, but a little bit slower as Polymaker
