Jaguar E-Type Silhouette – Minimalist 2D Art

A clean, minimalist 2D silhouette for true car enthusiasts. This design captures the classic lines of the vehicle and makes for a great piece of wall art, desk decoration, or a quick gift.

The model is designed for a fast and easy print without losing any details of its signature curves. It's also able to be printed on A1 Mini.

Scaling & Material Tips

• Clean your build plate! Otherwise, you risk failed prints and/or warping.
• Scaling Up: You can easily scale the model up in the X and Y axes in your slicer if you want a larger piece for your wall. (Note: Do not scale the Z-axis if you plan to use the Universal Holder!)
• Thickness (Z-Axis): The default thickness is 5.5 mm. If you prefer a thinner or thicker piece, simply unlock uniform scaling in your slicer and adjust the Z-axis only. A thickness between 5 mm and 7 mm works best for overall stability and aesthetics.
• Filament Choice: Matte PLA (e.g., Matte White) looks sleek and hides minor imperfections. You can use any other filament type, but be aware of potential warping!

Recommended Print Settings

To ensure the fine lines print cleanly and the top surface looks flawless, I recommend the following slicer settings:

• Layer Height: 0.16 mm or 0.20 mm
• Wall Loops / Perimeters: 3 to 4 (this adds crucial strength to the narrow segments)
• Infill: 15% (Gyroid) or 0%
• Ironing: Highly recommended! Turn on ironing for the topmost surface. This smooths out the visible layer lines and gives the silhouette a premium, seamless finish. Since every filament behaves differently, ideal ironing settings require individual calibration. Alternatively, you can flip the silhouette face-down on the build plate for a perfectly smooth or textured surface finish.
