Description
I have a large collection of succulents of all shapes and sizes, which means I’m always in need of new pots and, most importantly, SAUCERS!
Since generic saucers rarely fit perfectly, I created this fully parametric model in OpenSCAD.
It allows you to generate the perfect saucer for any pot in your collection, ensuring a clean, modern look with functional drainage.
🛠 Customizable Parameters
You can easily tweak the model using the Customizer:
General Dimensions:
- internal_diameter: The exact usable space at the bottom for your pot.
- total_height: The total height of the outer rim.
- bottom_thickness: Thickness of the saucer floor.
- rim_thickness: Thickness of the wall at the top edge (creates a nice flared effect).
Support Risers:
- riser_height: Height of the internal supports (set to 0 to disable). These keep the pot elevated for better drainage.
- riser_count: Number of radial supports.
- riser_width: The thickness of each support.
Drainage and Offsets:
- central_gap: Diameter of the empty hole in the middle (saves filament and helps airflow).
riser_safety_gap: Safety distance between the end of the supports and the wall.

If you don't want to use customization, I have already exported several standard sizes.
