The Simplest Model Ever Uploaded!

After 30 minutes of fighting with my EufyMake E1 camera calibration, I discovered something important - The calibration wants A4 paper!

Now, you would think that would be simple … except I am in the U.S., where A4 paper is apparently mythical and we measure things in Freedom Units™. Yes, I could order some from Amazon, but it would arrive tomorrow and I can 100% guarantee my family would mix it in with the Letter paper before I ever find it again.

So instead of solving the problem normally… I did a thing - I modeled paper!

This model is the pinnacle of engineering:

Shape: Square
Size: 210 mm × 148.5 mm (Half A4)
Complexity: Roughly 4 vertices and pure spite

Print two of them, place them together, and congratulations - you now have perfect A4 for EufyMake calibration without hunting for European office supplies.

It works like a champ!

Is it ridiculous? Yes!
Did it fix my problem instantly? Also yes!

just use "copy paper" or you know any standard 11" inch ish paper , cut 2 and half and place on bed. done deal. look at all these options in the middle of nowhere in usa. . .

cool just wanted to put it out there that just because something says one thing doesn't mean its the only thing, just like how you worked around it with a 3d print! happy printing.

I have had mine since October and never been an issue with regular printer paper

Great! I ran out of paper. I printed some new paper and put it in my laser printer. Somehow it's jammed in there now... 🤔😢 (Of course, that was nonsense... 🤣)

also ich lebe in Deutschland, wo A4 Papier zum Standard gehört, aber ich drucke dein Modell trotzdem! warum? Weil das Papier beim ersten Test mein ganzes Druckbett durch Reste ruiniert hat 🤦‍♂️
