3D Miniature of Stade Raymond-Kopa
Model Information:
The stadium is named after the legendary French footballer Raymond Kopa, who began his career at Angers SCO before becoming a world star at Real Madrid.
- The Transformation: In recent years, the stadium has been almost completely renovated. The old main stand was replaced by the ultramodern Tribune Saint-Léonard, which, with its distinctive, angular roof construction and glazed boxes, defines the new face of the stadium.
- English Style: After the renovations, it is now a pure football stadium ("Stade à l'anglaise"). Fans sit very close to the pitch, without a running track, which creates an intense atmosphere.
- Colors: The stadium is dominated by the club colors Black and White. The seat shells often form elegant patterns showing the "SCO" logo or the club name.
- Compactness: With a capacity of approximately 18,000 spectators, it is one of the smaller, but finer, stadiums in Ligue 1/Ligue 2. It appears very compact and enclosed.
- Location: It is located in the middle of a residential area of Angers, which gives it a very local and traditional rooting.
