Mastertronic Essentials (aka Mastertronic ESS, MTE) Funnel

An accessory to improve the design of the popular marine fish tank autotester by Focustronic.

Reduces the likelihood of stray reagent droplets from the nozzles from making their way somewhere other than the reaction vial. This increases testing accuracy, and lowers the likelihood of “Error 9”. Sometimes, stray reagent droplet splashes can hit the leak sensor, which is what triggers Error 9 and terminates testing.

To install, slide the funnel into the gap between the droplet sensor and the top of the reaction vial.

Two options available in the file, each on a separate plate - one with a lip at the bottom that cups the top of the reaction vial (recommended), and one without. The standard model with a lip requires supports for the print. The non-lipped variant is just provided for users who may not want to print supports.
