Trumpet Cleaning Tray

This cleaning tray is designed to hold all small parts of a standard American trumpet when soaking and cleaning them in warm water. It features a dedicated section for each piston, including its associated small parts like the top and bottom caps. This separation ensures that no parts can be interchanged between the pistons. Additionally, the tray has compartments designed to hold two mouthpieces and other small parts, such as the nuts for the trigger stop. Each compartment is equipped with holes, allowing water to flow in and out easily when the filled tray is placed in and removed from the water.

Printing Tips:

Print this part in PETG or other temperature-resistant filaments so that it can withstand water temperatures of 50-60°C for soaking. PLA is unsuitable for this purpose, as it will deform and become soft at these temperatures. When soaking the small parts, it is possible for the interior of the print (support structure) to fill with water, as not every layer is completely watertight. After cleaning, it is best to leave the tray on a towel for a few days to allow all the water to drain and the part to dry completely.
