Marathon - WEAVEworm
Print Profile(2)

Description
A new future, a new you.
Symbolizing re-birth and transformation in the Marathon (2026) game… the WEAVEworm is utilized by Sekiguchi Genetics to bio-organically print runner shells.
Now you can print your own WEAVEworm to display on your desk too!
I have designed it's overall shape to resemble a silk worm (bombyx mori) but with the signature 3 dot eyes and angular side vents on the carapace for a cybernetic look.
This model is 10cm in length and made with print-in-place flexible segments (aka flexi structure) to match it's caterpillar/worm form.
I have included a print profile of the keychain version too.
Tip: Remember to carefully remove the small tree supports from the bottom after printing.
My main examples are printed using Bambu Lab PLA Basic Bambu Green and Black.
In the photo gallery, I have also included an example printed in the “Nona” color scheme of Jade White and Red. To print in this particular color scheme, you will need to manually increase the purging volumes settings by a lot in order to minimize the color bleeding (I maxed out the purging volume all the way up to 900 mm3).
If you enjoy this print, do give a like (or even a boost). Thank you!
