Remix Heltec T114 w/ GPS Module and 18650 Battery

Heltec T114 Meshcore Case - GPS Expansion Remix

This is a remix of the MESHCORE heltec t114 case for 18650 by m.seijkens (Go check out his if you don't have the GPS module. It's a truly great design), specifically modified to accommodate internal GPS modules.

Key Improvements

• Extended Frame: The main body has been lengthened to provide dedicated internal space for a GPS module while still housing a full 18650 cell.
• Redesigned Plates: Both the front and back plates have been adjusted to match the new dimensions of the extended frame, ensuring a seamless and secure fit.
  • I also created some different designs for the front plate for both Meshcore and Meshtastic fans.
• GPS Ready: Perfect for those looking to add location data to their portable nodes without needing an external enclosure.

Hardware Compatibility

• Board: Heltec T114.
• Battery: Standard 18650.
• GPS: Tested with standard small-form-factor GPS modules (e.g., L76K GNSS).
• Fasteners: Uses the same screw/mounting logic as the original design, or if you don't have threaded inserts, you can use M3x18mm screws and put some M3 nuts on the back. 

3/25/2026 Update:

• Added another variant for people who prefer 18650 battery holders like these from Amazon (you will need to solder or use seal wire connectors to connect to the included JST PH 1.25 wires that come with most T114 kits), or there are these from Rokland Battery Holder for 18650 with JST PH Connector (Flat Spring Contact) that come ready to go. This does make the case a bit bigger.
  • Since the frame is a bit thicker, M3x20mm screws and nuts should work if you don't want to do the threaded insert method.
