Description

The J-type Diplomatic Barge is a royal starship used by the Royal house of Naboo for diplomatic missions first appearing in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones (2002). The ship had fixed many of the issues of its precursor, the J-type 327, such as stronger shields and dual S6 Hyperdrive generators to power the 4 sublight engines for better performance in space, the vessel is 128 feet (39 meters) but features a 298-foot (91 meter) wingspan. like the J-type 327, the Barge features a chrome plating for shielding against blaster attacks, in the opening shot of Star Wars: Attack of the Clones (set in 22 BBY), we see the ship landing on Coruscant while being escorted by 2 Naboo N-1 Starfighters, a few seconds after it lands, a bomb planted by a terrorist detonates and destroys the ship, at first, the crew that did survive thought Padme (who was meant to be riding on the ship) died, thankfully, she was flying in a Naboo N-1 starfighter.

Boost Me (for free)

the planet of Naboo is so amazing at making beautiful ships that reflect the culture and status of their planet! if you agree after printing, consider giving a boost!

This model reflects the beauty of Naboo while still being compatible with the A1 mini, and am really proud of how it turned out! the model measures 227mm in width, 97.5mm long, while still fitting on the A1 mini's build plate diagonally, the model is also angled 45 degrees vertically for strength and quality, if you would like me to make more Star Wars ships, please, let me know, and make sure to add pictures to your reviews! anyway, thank you so much for taking time out of your day to read this little message <3

Note: The Coruscant Landing pad stand can be found as a print profile under my 1:400 scale J-type 327 Model here.
