The Skådis Pocket Validator: Wallet-Sized Fitment Gauge

What I’ve learned that the hardest part of the IKEA Skådis system isn't the mounting—it's the inconsistent tolerances of 3D-printed hooks and accessories.

I created this credit-card-sized tool so you can carry a "physical reference" of the Skådis grid in your pocket. Whether you are at a maker faire, a friend's workshop, or just testing your own latest print, this tool tells you instantly if a model will fit the genuine IKEA pegboard.

🛠️ What it Does:

• True-to-Scale Peg Holes: Exact dimensions of the official IKEA Skådis slots.
• Distance Check: Verified 40mm center-to-center spacing.
• Wallet Ready: Standard ID/credit card dimensions (85.6x 54mm) and adjustable thickness - stretch it to 5mm to get the real (but too thick for a wallet) deal, or keep it as-is for a slim wallet accessory. See the magic happen when resizing - the holes still do have the roundness around them. 
• Filament Swatch: Doubles as a great way to test how a new filament looks and feels.

📐 Design & Print Settings:

• No Supports Required: Printed flat for maximum dimensional accuracy.
• Material: Works great in PLA, PETG, or even TPU if you want a flexible gauge.
• Precision: I recommend a 0.2mm layer height or lower to ensure the hole chamfers are crisp.
