Experience the precision of motorsport engineering on your desk!

This project is a detailed, 1:1 scale replica of a high-performance F1-style multi-plate racing clutch.

Designed with a focus on realism, this model features the iconic "sandwich" assembly of carbon and titanium discs used in elite motorsport to transfer massive amounts of torque.

Key Features:

Authentic Multi-Plate Layout: Features an alternating stack of carbon-style and titanium-style discs.

Intricate Detail: Modeled with realistic splines, pressure plate, and casing architecture.

Perfect Display Piece: Designed to look professional in any workshop, office, or gaming setup.

Customizable Assembly: Choose your colors to represent different materials—use Matte Black for carbon, Silk Silver or Metallic Grey for the titanium plates, and a racing Red for the pressure plate.

Technical Specifications:

Total Discs: 6 "Carbon" (5mm) and 6 "Titanium" (2mm) plates.

Assembly: Designed for a satisfying, realistic fit. (Optional: Can be assembled with spring-loaded screws for a functional "pressure" feel).

Material: Matte filaments are highly recommended for the carbon discs to achieve that authentic "raw" look.

Assembly Tips:

The discs should be alternated: [Carbon Plate] -> [Titanium Plate] -> [Carbon Plate]...

Ensure you have clean tolerances when printing the internal hub splines for a smooth fit.

Consider using actual M3 bolts for the assembly to give it that final touch of realism.

Perfect for:

Motorsport fans, mechanical engineers, and anyone who appreciates the beauty of complex machinery.

Let me know if you print it—I’d love to see your color choices! Don’t forget to post your makes.

⚠️ Printing Problems ⚠️

I know how frustrating it can be to encounter difficulties during a 3D print, and I always appreciate constructive criticism or suggestions for improving my models. 🙏

However, I kindly ask you to always ensure your printer is properly calibrated, specifically:

⚙️ Correctly set extrusion flow

🧲 If you have adhesion issues, try using a brim or a gripper

💡 Important note: Any print failures are not due to the model or print profile.

All files are thoroughly tested before publication, and I always share the print profile I used for the published results.

Thank you so much for your understanding and…

✨ Happy printing, everyone! 🖨️
