Uffington White Horse Bookmark

Description
Here is another simple bookmark design I created because I needed another bookmark. Well you can never have enough bookmarks, can you? Inspired by one of Britain’s most remarkable ancient landmarks, this bookmark features the elegant form of the Uffington White Horse. Carved into the chalk hillside of Oxfordshire over 3,000 years ago during the late Bronze Age or early Iron Age, the figure is the oldest known hill figure in Britain. Its flowing, minimalist lines create a striking and instantly recognisable silhouette that has fascinated historians, archaeologists, and visitors for centuries.
This 3D printed bookmark captures the spirit of that ancient design, transforming the sweeping curves of the horse into a practical object for book lovers. Just as the original figure has endured on the landscape for millennia, this design celebrates the timeless connection between art, history, and storytelling.
Perfect for readers who appreciate British heritage, ancient symbols, and clean, elegant design.
I have included two versions in this upload. One with a 0.2mm relief pattern of the White Horse and a 0.4mm relief pattern. Both offer a pleasing tactile feel to the design.
In this print I have used PLA Matte Charcoal and PLA Metallic Copper. But of course you can use whatever colours you desire.
I hope you like it.
