Description

Nature doesn't always heal; sometimes, it rots. This terrifying Fungal Hound is the perfect monstrous encounter for players wandering into blighted woods or deep subterranean caverns. Whether you need a corrupted Worg, a spore-infected guardian for a Myconid colony, or a terrifying beast of decay, this miniature brings toxic nightmares to the tabletop.

The sculpt captures a menacing, quadrupedal predator heavily infected by parasitic fungi. Its muscular, bark-like body is completely covered in thick layers of bracket fungi and sprouting mushrooms. With an unsettling cluster of multiple glowing eyes and a gaping, jagged maw, it prowls aggressively forward. The creature stalks across a Blighted Forest Base, detailed with toxic soil, broken branches, and colorful little mushrooms.

Key Features:

  • Painter's Canvas: The massive clusters of shelf fungi on its back offer an amazing opportunity to blend earthy greens, browns, and vibrant purples/reds, making it a joy to paint with washes and dry-brushing.
  • Nightmare Fuel: The asymmetrical design, the multiple unblinking eyes, and the twisted anatomy ensure this monster will genuinely unnerve your players.
  • Versatile Threat: Fits perfectly into any dark fantasy setting as a generic mutant beast, an elemental of rot, or a specific Underdark threat.
