Eye Trainer - Moving Focus Training - Myopia Prevention

Design Concept

This eye trainer helps improve vision by simulating different focal distances, specifically targeting myopia prevention. Its design encourages users to move their eyeballs, thereby exercising eye muscles.

Purpose

Mainly used for mobile focus training, it can be conveniently used anywhere, helping to improve eye flexibility and assist in myopia prevention.

Printing Suggestions

It is recommended to print using PLA or PETG material to ensure the overall structural stability and strength. Colors can be adjusted according to personal preference.

Assembly Instructions

After printing, prepare two 5-8 meter nylon ropes (any smooth rope will do). Thread one from the left side and the other from the right side, then tie handles to all four ends. When using, two people need to simultaneously pull the two handles, tightening the rope. One person at an end performs a motion similar to chest-opening exercises, spreading the rope to make the target move towards the opposite person. During this movement, the eyes should carefully track the moving target. Both people repeat this back and forth, which can achieve eye focus training and has a certain effect on myopia prevention. It can also serve as a piece of equipment for children's sports.

If conditions allow, a PTFE tube (3D printer filament tube, 4mm) can be inserted into the thread holes. The reserved holes in the base are perfectly suited for this size tube, which can make the base smoother and more durable.

Due to differences in materials and printer types used, print quality and tolerances may vary. If you find the fit is too loose or too tight after printing, you can scale parts of the model accordingly.
