Guitar Neck Shims (Parametric / Any Angle & Size)
Print Profile(2)

Description
Parametric Neck Shim
This neck shim provides full-surface contact, ensuring a solid connection between the neck and body, avoiding “ski jumps” that can occur from partial shims. Use the customize feature on browsers to make it to your exact specifications for a perfect fit in your guitar.
Getting the correct size
If you are unsure which angle you need you can try an online calculator or simply print a few shims going up in .25° increments, rarely will you need anything over 1°. For the dimensions I recommend going a few mm under the exact pocket dimensions to prevent the shim from sticking out as the neck tapers towards the headstock. Make the base twice the layer height to ensure the thinnest part of the shim is nice and solid.
Print Settings
Material: PETG or similar to avoid compression over time
Layer Height: .08mm with precise Z height enabled to get the smoothest taper possible.
Infill: Usually the print is thin enough to do this itself but a solid 100% infill is recommended again to avoid compression.
UPDATE: Strat style heel radius and angle embossing options added
I have updated the script to hopefully make the overall use of this nicer and also added the option to add a fender strat style radius to the heel of the shim for a more snug fit and an option to enable embossing the angle into the shim.
