Description

Note: The 3D models provided here are intended for personal and non-commercial use only. For commercial use or licensing, please get in touch.

Aesthetic planter with built-in mesh in the bottom - no need to put a net :)

Ideal for house plants such as succulents, spider plants, cactus etc.

The model itself is designed to be thin yet more sturdy than printing on spiral vase mode.

(DO NOT PRINT IN SPIRAL VASE MODE)

UPDATE:

For those who are concerned that this planter is too thin, please check out my another model:

Cute Bubble Planter (this model) vs. Bubble Hobnail Planter Pot

Cute Bubble Planter (this model)

  • Overall shape:
    Wider and lower-profile

  • Wall style:
Thinner walls with hollowed bubble details

  • Best for:
Saving filament and getting a lighter print

  • Filament use:
    Uses less filament

  • Durability:
Lighter, but less sturdy compare to Bubble Hobnail Planter Pot

  • Outdoor recommendation:
PETG (or other heat/UV resistant filament) is recommended for outdoor use, especially in direct sunlight

  • Aesthetic:
    Softer, more decorative bubble texture

I printed this in PLA and placed it on my balcony. It has been holding up so far, but for stronger long-term outdoor performance, PETG is the safer choice, especially in direct sunlight.

Bubble Hobnail Planter Pot

  • Overall shape:

    Taller and more upright

  • Wall style:
    Thicker, sturdier walls

  • Best for:

Outdoor use, especially if printing in PLA

  • Filament use:

    Uses more filament

  • Durability:
    More rigid and durable

  • Outdoor recommendation:
Better choice for PLA outdoor use

  • Aesthetic:
    Chunkier bubble texture

If you have comments and suggestions, I would be happy to hear :) Happy printing!
