🏎️ Albert Park Circuit – Formula 1 Australian GP 2026

This 3D printable display represents the Albert Park Circuit in Melbourne, host of the Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix 2026.

The model includes several elements inspired by the 2026 Formula 1 regulation changes, including a border along the sections of the circuit where Straight Mode can be used, as well as markers indicating the Overtake Detection (OD) and Overtake Activation (OA) zones.

The design was created as a clean motorsport display piece, highlighting key track information while maintaining a minimal and modern aesthetic. It works perfectly as a desk decoration, collectible item, or gift for Formula 1 fans.

🎨 Multicolor Sector Design

The circuit layout is optimized for multicolor printing and highlights the three official F1 sectors:

🟡 Sector 1
🔴 Sector 2
🔵 Sector 3

This makes the layout easy to read and gives the model a distinctive motorsport-inspired look.

🏎️ Race Markers

To make the display more informative, the model includes markers for important race zones:

📍 Speed Trap – official top speed measurement point
📍 OD – Overtake Detection
📍 OA – Overtake Activation

These elements reflect the zones used during the race to manage overtaking opportunities and energy deployment.

⚡ 2026 Regulation Context

The 2026 Formula 1 regulations introduce new energy deployment strategies, including:

• Straight Mode – optimized for high-speed sections of the circuit
• Overtake Mode – additional power deployment for overtaking opportunities

To visually represent these concepts, the model includes a border along straight sections of the track, highlighting where Straight Mode could typically be used.

The OD (Overtake Detection) and OA (Overtake Activation) markers indicate where overtaking assistance is monitored and activated. The detection point determines whether a driver is within 1 second of the car ahead, allowing the overtaking system to be activated at the designated activation zone.

🧱 Display Base

The model includes a display base with two fin supports that hold the circuit vertically, creating a clean and stable presentation.

The base also features an integrated label with event information:

🏁 AUS GP 26
📅 06-03-26 / 08-03-26
📍 Albert Park Circuit

This gives the model the appearance of a mini motorsport exhibition display.
