This is probably the worst treasure chest ever designed… and that’s exactly the point.
At first glance, it looks like a normal treasure chest with a key.
But when you turn the key… it opens from the bottom.
Result: everything inside instantly falls onto the floor.
Perfect for:
- an April Fools prank
- tricking a friend
- storing… absolutely nothing
- adding a completely useless but funny object to your desk
This is a simple and satisfying mechanical object based on a small internal mechanism activated by the key.
How it works
Turn the key
The mechanism triggers
The bottom trapdoor opens
Everything falls out
Mission accomplished.
Assembly
Assembly is quick and simple:
- glue two small internal parts
- slide the mechanism clips in place (no glue)
- glue the protection cover
- glue the golden decorations
