Description
This functional, double-sided cross-stitch keychain is designed with technical precision in mind. Unlike many 3D-printed stitching plates, this model is engineered specifically for a 0.4mm nozzle to ensure the cleanest possible print with zero wasted movement.
Technical Optimization
The geometry of the grid is mathematically aligned with standard 3D printing line widths:
- Hole Size: 1.26 mm (exactly 3 wall lines).
- Gap/Bridge: 0.84 mm (exactly 2 wall lines).
- Stitch Pitch: 2.1 mm (approx. 12 Count equivalent).
By matching these dimensions to a 0.42mm line width, the printer performs a continuous path with minimal retractions. This results in maximum print speed and superior surface quality without the typical "blobs" or "strings" found in small holes.
Features
- Grid Size: 15 x 15 stitches (16 x 16 holes).
- Double-Sided Design: The model consists of two symmetrical halves to be stitched and joined.
- Compatibility: Designed to work perfectly with standard cross-stitch needles and embroidery floss.
- Clean Geometry: No thin walls or weird gaps—just solid, structural lines.
- Canvas Feel: The 12-count scale provides a comfortable stitching experience, similar to traditional Aida 12 fabric.
Assembly Instructions
- Stitch your designs on both halves of the keychain.
- Align the two halves back-to-back (wrong sides together).
- Carefully glue the pieces together to create a clean, double-sided accessory.
Print Settings
- Nozzle: 0.4 mm (Required for the geometry to match).
- Line Width: 0.42 mm.
- Layer Height: 0.2 mm recommended.
- Material: PLA, PETG, or Matte PLA for a nice fabric-like texture.
