Description
Parametric aquarium plant ring designed to keep duckweed in one place.
The water flow in the Juwel Primo 60 is quite strong, even with my water‑flow diffuser that redirects the current upward. I’ve tried several other models, but I found that the plants always managed to escape the ring, and none of them provided a proper anchor point.
I want the ring to stay fixed in one exact position, connected with a transparent fishing line above the water level. This is important because the aquarium is closed with a lid, and I usually don’t look at the fish from above.
You can adjust the size of the ring using the “Diameter” parameter, and “Anchor” is set to 0.4 Degree (2 perimeters). You can make it bigger or set it to 0 if you don’t need the option to tie the ring.
