Description

The handle of my 200d cracked when torqued a bit too much, so I made a replacement one!

This will work for Amaran 100d, 100x, 200d, 200x, as well as their newer S models.

Assembly: you have to remove/harvest the brass knurled part from the old handle.

I held mine with locking pliers (vise grips), heated it up with a heat gun, and then press fit it into the handle. I had to hammer in the last little bit.

While the heat isn't necessary (I designed it to be a very tight press fit), it helps fuse it to the handle.

Depending on your printer/filament settings, you may need to size up/down things by 1% if the press fit is too tight/loose. You want it to be tight enough that you need to hammer it in. You don't want this piece to slip.

I also added a version with a place for a M8x20mm screw (and washer?) to go in. This might help if you're paranoid about the brass piece slipping with only a press fit. Shorter/longer screws might fit, but I haven't tested/measured that.
