Description

Here are some variants of Ice Auger Mounts for BRP LinQ attachments.

There are 2 tall variants, one straight one twisted sideways. One short variant made for a friend of mine, if you have a long shaft and the spiral doesn't start until far down on the shaft, the short ones should be good, otherwise you need the tall ones, they should work with 6" Auger no problem, maybe bigger, but I haven't tested.

You don't NEED to print the latch variant if you do not want, you can also usually print 2 of the “Strap” variants and just use straps on both holders.

The way this is suppose to work you take the models called “Washers” and you superglue a nut on to it, then push them under the LinQ mounts like in this picture:

Then you can screw down the a bolt of some kind into the nut and secure the LinQ mount, just be careful of the length of the bolt, so you don't screw it down far past into the plastic. It can be difficult to get the washer in under, the scratches you see in the picture is from a screwdriver I used to force it in there, I want as much plastic as possible in that “Washer”. The fit is VERY snugg on official BRP LinQ mounts, the washer is a bit more loose to allow for some play.

Also, check out my Ice Auger Side mounts.

Print with at least 4 walls, 35% infill, I do recommend a bit sturdier, maybe 50% infill, you can also add modifiers to parts that are more sensitive.

I would really appreciate a boost if you end up using any of these, and pictures as well, thank you!

Yes me too, will see how it holds together! printed them pretty sturdy so should work with normal driving atleast :) I'll give more feedback when I've tried it properly.

Where do you get the rubber straps?

I had one laying around, its some sort of trailer cover strap. i did see some similar on Amazon. Normal straps can work too, or some sort of velcro straps. Rubber is prefered though, it prevents its from sliding etc.
