I added a helmet and shield to the Captain America Brick MegaFigure by BrickDreams, and I also updated the face with two different variants.
The BrickDreams remix is based on the Brick MegaFigure originally published by Julia Ebert. The changes he made to Julia Ebert’s original design include:
- All parts were scaled down to 50% so they are compatible with other models we have published at a 5:1 scale from the original.
- A modified torso that includes cavities to hold the torso sticker parts provided with this design (the sticker pieces will need to be glued in place).
- Modified hands that print with their connectors already attached. This requires supports but eliminates the need to glue these parts afterward.
Basic assembly instructions can be found in Julia’s original post. This is a fantastic model that is easy to print and assemble. Special thanks to Julia for sharing this great design!
Printing Instructions
- Infill: 8% cubic infill for most parts
- Connectors: 25% grid infill
Shield:
To prevent the infill from being visible through the white section, I recommend printing the white torus at 100% infill. The handle can be attached to the shield using the connectors and secured with glue.
