IKEA ALEX – Drawer Full Extension
The drawers need to be modified. A template is included to mark the area that needs to be milled out.
However, this is not absolutely necessary.
I personally drilled several smaller holes and then sawed out the rectangles with a small model saw.
New screws must also be used. I used M4x12 mm pan head screws for this.
Do not overtighten the screws afterward, otherwise the drawers will jam. The washers serve as a friction layer.
