Infinity Bases V2 – Multi-Magnet & Material Efficient 🧲

This is the improved Version 2 of my Infinity bases. Based on community feedback and personal testing, I’ve overhauled the internal structure to provide maximum stability for your miniatures while saving filament.

 🔄 What’s New in V2?

• Multi-Magnet Support: I’ve added multiple recesses for 8x2mm magnets based on the base size. This ensures even the heaviest metal miniatures or large TAGs stay securely in your transport box:
  • 25mm Base: 1 Magnet slot (Standard Infantry)
  • 40mm Base:  2 Magnet slots (Heavy Infantry / Remotes)
  • 55mm Base: 3 Magnet slots (Large Units / TAGs)
  • 70mm Base: 5 Magnet slots (Huge TAGs)
• Material Efficient: The new design features additional recesses that significantly reduce the amount of filament needed without sacrificing strength.
• Optimized for Plate Texture: These bases are designed to be printed face-down (upside down). 
  • Use a Textured PEI Plate to give the top of your bases a gritty texture

  • Or use PEO/PEY for some Bases that work directly from the printer

     

🛠️ Printing Guide

• To ensure all fine details like the LoF arcs and size labels are printed correctly, please use these settings:
  • Wall Generator: You MUST use “Arachne” (instead of "Classic"). The center LoF mark and the size labels are very fine; the Classic engine will skip these details during slicing.
  • Orientation: Print upside down (face-down on the plate).
  • Supports: None needed

  • Layer Height: 0.12mm to 0.2mm

• Regulation Height: 3mm high, exactly matching the original Corvus Belli bases.
• Magnet-Ready: Precisely fitting 8.1mm holes for standard 8x2mm neodymium magnets.

Infinity Bases V2 – Optimiert für Textur & Effizienz
In der Version 2 besitzen die Bases je nach Größe mehrere 8x2mm Magnetlöcher für bombenfesten Halt deiner Zinnfiguren. 
WICHTIG: Bitte verwende im Slicer den **Arachne Wall Generator**, damit die feinen LoF-Markierungen und die Beschriftung korrekt gedruckt werden. Drucke die Bases am besten "upside down" auf einer strukturierten PEI-Platte, um direkt eine fertige Oberflächenstruktur zu erhalten. Das neue Design spart zudem Filament!
