Description
I created this version of the As Val stock, fitted to any pic rail for any application. It prints as 2 pieces, the folding mechanism, as well as the stock it's self. You will need some minimal hardware and tools to assemble. supplies are as follows:
1: M5x50 screw
2: M5x38 screws
4: M5 nuts
1: M5 lock washer
1: 9x12ODx25L spring
1: 3/16 drill bit
You will want to (carefully) drill out all holes to 3/16
The bolt that the stock swivels on will be held in place by the stock under spring tension, and has a lock washer with 2 nuts on either side to keep the bolt from riding out, thus creating your "folding mechanism button'.
To assemble, mount the female pic adaptor, then set the spring in the cavity and slide the stock over it. You'll then be able to slide the bolt through keeping everything together.
The orientation is preset to fold to the left when looking from the butt of the stock.
PRINTING- Print settings are up to you, but I recommend doing 95% infill(Gyroid)on the stock and 75% on the adaptor(so it has some give without breaking) as well as 4 walls for the adaptor and 6 for the stock.
DISCLAIMER-I have everything fairly tight so there is minimal wobble or play, so you may need to file or sand some material to complete the fitting of everything.
