Description

GridCraft – Modular Tile Grid 6×6

Scene Building Base

A modular 6×6 grid designed as a stable base for placing GridCraft tiles and building complete terrain scenes.

This grid helps organize and align tiles while keeping the entire scene connected and easy to move on the table.

Side connectors allow multiple grids to snap together, enabling you to expand your building area indefinitely.

Key Features

  • Standard 1 inch / 25 mm grid
  • No supports required
  • Low material usage
  • Fast print times
  • Low material usage

The snap-fit connectors allow grids to lock together securely, forming larger play areas.

Once connected, the entire terrain layout can be safely moved across the table without disturbing individual tiles.

GridCraft

GridCraft is a modular terrain system built around efficiency and flexibility.

The geometry is intentionally simple and reinterpret-able.
Color and context define the meaning:

  • A dark recess becomes a pit or pond
  • Dirt becomes soil or decay
  • A crate flipped over becomes open
  • A bedroll elevated becomes a proper bed

Every piece is designed to print quickly, cleanly, and without supports — while leaving room for creativity at the table.

Your Grid. Your Story.

could you make the grid a bit more stable? Also id needs to be wider 1 or two millimeters, stadard 25mm bases do not fit between to walls.

Thanks for the feedback! The grid size is fixed because many other pieces in the project are designed to fit it. Increasing the width by 1–2 mm would unfortunately break compatibility with the rest of the system. If your bases don’t fit comfortably, an easy solution is to slightly increase the print scale in your slicer (for example 101–103%). This will widen the gaps between the walls while keeping everything compatible with the rest of the set. About the grid being “more stable” – could you please clarify what you mean? Do you mean the connection between tiles or the rigidity of the walls?

Super simple system with many different designs I found the stability of the grids a bit too weak I have set the height to 4mm and scaled it by 102% on the X and Y axes In my opinion the tiles hold a little better in it and I like it when you can see a kind of joint between the tiles Thank you very much for the models and the work
