BiteCroc – Reforged 🐊

BiteCroc returns in a reforged and improved version!

While the model keeps the original BiteCroc look and charm, it has actually been completely redesigned from the ground up. The goal was to preserve the familiar character of the original while significantly improving strength, functionality, and printability.

This updated version features stronger joints and a redesigned jaw mechanism. The upper jaw now opens upward and is printed as a separate part, allowing it to be printed without supports. This results in a cleaner print and an easier assembly.

For users who like to print in multiple colors, the teeth and eyes are defined as separate objects, which makes painting them in the slicer much easier.

The articulated body keeps the classic flexible movement that makes BiteCroc fun to pose, play with, or use as a desk companion.

Improvements in the Reforged Version:

Stronger and more durable joints

Completely redesigned internal structure
Redesigned jaw mechanism
Upper jaw opens upward
Separate upper jaw for easier printing
Teeth and eyes as separate objects for easier slicer painting
No supports needed!

For improved bed adhesion of the head: I also configured a small brim in the print profile. It helps ensure a reliable first layer and can be removed very easily after printing.

Simply print the parts, remove the brim and snap the jaw into place.
