Citroën C3 front headlight adjustment knob V1

This is a replacement headlight adjustment knob for a Citroën C3 1 (2002 - 2009).

It's useful to replace it if yours fall off, rather than having to be a whole new headlight (this part is not sold separately).

It's comprised of 2 parts:

• the knob, which slides over the rotating yellow knob of the headlight and can be turned with a 10mm socket
• the retainer, which slides over the knob and secure it using the headlight retaining features. It's tight enough to not fall off easily, but loose enough that you can easily remove it with a screwdriver using the built-in slot for that.

With that, you can again adjust your headlight and not fail your technical inspection.

PETG is probably enough for temperature resistance as it doesn't sit that close to the engine, but if possible use ABS or better.
I've tested only on the left headlight, and it survived a 200km trip without falling or melting.

For the right headlight, you might need to mirror the retainer, as it's not symetrical.

It might also work on other PSA cars using a similar headlight.

I've titled this model “V1”, as I might revisit it: there is a reason the stock knob use gears to have a socket upward: by having the socket behind the headlight, it makes it hard to use a wrench, especially on the left headlight. Feel free to remix this model to do that.
