Description

The B-2 Bomber is one of the most elite and feared stealth aircraft in the world.

I thought it needed a realistic and detailed model.

The print is optimized for easy printing & assembly and reducing filament changes, while also retaining the the multi-color print aspect. There are a few plates that are heavily AMS dependent, but the remaining majority of plates are AMS and waste free. I included AMS versions with black and gray colorways, as well as Non-AMS black and gray colorways.

I spent nearly 100 hours modeling, printing, rendering, and producing a model that I think it worthy of your download! I wanted to make this model free because of how much I enjoyed making and printing it, and I wanted you guys to have the same experience.

Please take the time to print and review it! I would love to hear your feedback and how I can improve future models. I would also love to see your models and colorways, so please submit pictures of your models!

Assembly Instructions:

Some assembly notes:

  • I know the supports on the inside cutouts are not ideal, but they are required for a good print. I use a pair of pliers to get all of the support material out.
  • The USAF Logo is pretty hard to wedge into the wing. I couldn't find a good way to support that profile, so it misprints every time. I usually use a flat head or a pair of pliers to force it into the wing.
  • The insert pieces are toleranced with my P1S, and are toleranced to 0.0mm fit, that way they snap together and stay tight. You may have to scale up or down your inserts according to your printer's tolerances.

Some renderings I wanted to include, hope you enjoy them!
