Description

Description

This model is a precision-designed SFX to ATX power supply adapter bracket intended to allow the installation of a Small Form Factor (SFX) PSU into a standard ATX computer case.

The bracket follows the standard ATX rear mounting hole pattern and aligns correctly with typical SFX PSU mounting dimensions. It is designed for builders who want to reuse an SFX power supply in a mid-tower or full-tower ATX chassis without modification to the case.

The geometry prioritises structural rigidity while maintaining proper airflow clearance around the PSU exhaust area. Screw hole tolerances were designed to closely match standard PSU specifications for accurate alignment during installation.

Compatibility

  • Standard SFX power supplies
  • Standard ATX PSU mounting layout (4-screw rear pattern)
  • Most ATX mid-tower and full-tower cases

Recommended Print Settings

  • Layer height: 0.2 mm
  • Walls: 3–4 perimeters
  • Infill: 40–60%
  • Material: PETG or ABS recommended for better heat resistance
  • Print orientation: flat on bed
  • Supports: not required

PLA can be used for light-duty builds, but PETG or ABS is recommended for long-term structural durability due to PSU heat exposure.

Notes

This bracket is intended for mechanical mounting only. Ensure adequate ventilation and do not block PSU airflow. Always verify screw alignment before full installation.

Designed and tested for clean fitment and ease of installation in custom PC builds, compact systems, and mixed form factor upgrades.
