🔧 Usage Steps
Step 1
Print the mold exactly as it is in the profile, without modifying the scale
Step 2
Apply a thin layer of lithium grease or similar grease on the inside of the mold to facilitate demolding
Step 3
Collect the filament scraps.
⚠️ Use exactly 2.8 grams per star
Heat the material with a heat gun until it is soft and moldable
Step 4
The mold consists of two lids and a negative mold.
Place one lid on the base, place the negative mold, insert the hot PLA and close with the second lid
Step 5
Demold when the piece has the shape and let it cool completely
Step 6
Make the hole for the keychain with a mini grinder or rotary tool.
Done! ⭐ Your recycled star is finished
⚠️ Safety
- 🔥 Hot PLA can cause burns
- 🧤 Use gloves or tools to handle the hot material
- 😷 Work in a ventilated area and use a mask if possible
- 🛠️ Be careful when making the hole to avoid cuts
