Description
Custom Gen 6 Glock ORS Filler Plate for OSIGHT SE (RMSc #4 Footprint)
Adapter plate for the Glock 17/19/45 Gen 6 ORS (Optic Ready System), designed to fill the gap around the OSIGHT SE optic. The OSIGHT SE was built for slimline Glocks like the 43X, but its 25mm footprint fits the standard Gen 6 ORS cut flush. The problem is the front and rear gaps left by the undersized optic body sitting in the larger cut out. This is filler for what would otherwise be the RMSc #4 Glock plate.
This plate eliminates those gaps. The optic sits tight with no visible voids, and the plate provides lateral support consistent with how the factory ORS plates function: as a compression spacer between the optic and slide, with the optic screwing directly into the slide through the plate.
Other micro red dots with similar body dimensions to the OSIGHT SE on the RMSc footprint may also work. If you have one and try it, drop a comment.
Print Notes
- Tolerances are approximately +/- 0.3mm (hand measured cut out on a Glock pistol). Fit is snug on my unit.
- Recommended materials: PETG, PCTG, ASA, Nylons. This plate sits between metal surfaces, so avoid abrasive filaments (glass or carbon filled). PLA is not recommended due to low heat deflection temperature. Glock uses polymer for the factory ORS plates specifically for shock absorption and friction, so a printed polymer plate is functionally appropriate here.
- Supports are necessary for the filler area.
- Uses factory ORS mounting screws. The optic fastens directly into the slide per the standard Gen 6 ORS design.
- I have included a STEP file per request. Overall, you should have anything necessary to create the plate.
If you wish to modify this file to fit other optics, please reach out first.
Fitment confirmed on: Glock 19 Gen 6
