marching band flute / fife (7 hole)
Print Profile(3)

Description
ENG
This model is a so-called drum flute or transverse fife, as used in marching bands / flute and drum corps (Spielmannszug) in Germany. It is tuned to Bb (Cb-Version in extra profile) and is based on the fingering system of fifes made by the company “Sandner”. The fingering chart for these flutes can be used for this model.
The tones are not yet perfectly clean, but they are already very close to the original. With a practiced embouchure, it can certainly be played even better.
Since I was never able to find a similar model myself and didn’t want to learn completely new fingerings, I simply created one myself. I hope it might inspire one or two people to become interested in Spielmannszug music.
