Description

Bring the ultimate survival tool to the real world with this Jumbo Life-Size Minecraft Pickaxe!

Unlike other tiny, single-piece models out there, this pickaxe is designed to be as close to life-size as possible, giving you a massive, satisfying prop perfect for cosplay, room decor, or the ultimate gamer gift.

Why this model stands out:

  • Massive Scale: This is one of the largest pickaxe models available! It spans across two full build plates to achieve its impressive, real-world size.
  • Two Colors, ZERO AMS Needed: Want that classic multi-colored look without wasting filament on purges or needing an expensive multi-color unit? Because the handle, pick head, and top cap are printed separately, you can simply load your brown filament for plate 1, and your green (or blue/grey/gold) filament for plate 2.
  • Satisfying Snap-Fit Design: The parts are engineered with built-in pegs and holes. They snap together cleanly and securely to form one solid piece—no complex hardware required!

Perfect for kids, gamers, and 3D printing enthusiasts looking for a bold, easy-to-manage project.

Print Recommendations & Settings

This model prints flat on the bed for maximum strength and ease.

  • Build Plates: 2 separate plates (Plate 1: Handle & Top Cap | Plate 2: Pickaxe Head).
  • Layer Height: 0.20mm (standard) works perfectly, but you can use 0.28mm for a faster print since the blocky aesthetic hides layer lines well.
  • Infill: 10% - 15% Gyroid or Cubic. This keeps the large prop lightweight but rigid enough for swinging around.
  • Wall Loops / Perimeters: 3 walls. This adds crucial strength to the snap-fit pegs.
  • Supports: The model is designed to print flat against the build plate. Only minor supports needed for snap fittings.
  • Assembly Tip: The snap-fit is designed to be snug. If your printer over-extrudes slightly, a light sanding on the pegs will help. For a permanent, battle-ready prop, add a few drops of super glue (CA glue) before snapping the pieces together. Press the peices together firmly!
