Olfa Craft Knife Grip Handle Skin and Thumb wheel

This model is an add-on handle grip or skin cover for the great Japan-made utility knife from OLFA (Model Olfa Craft 34B).  Great knife and affordable, the Olfa Craft has a replicable blade thicker than the other “snap-off” ones.

The knife thumb wheel position is reversible, so I designed the skin in a RIGHT and LEFT hand configurations, the Olfa Craft default position from the factory is LEFT.

To match the thicker handle and skin look, I also designed a large thumb screw to push over the brass one.

An optional magnetic cap is also included to help reduce possible blade “slip out”. 

Additional hardware is required to complete the model: 

(1x) OLFA Craft 34B Knife or OLFA Works OW-UCK-1/OD Knife (Psst … the “Works” is almost the same except it’s 3x more expensive, just saying!);

(6x) BT3 x 6mm plastic screws (P/N AA107 or AA142);

(3x) D10 round magnets x 2mm thick (P/N CA016).

Glue (cyanoacrylate medium) is required for the assembly, especially for the magnets and the thumb wheel on the round brass nut. 

The hole in the magnetic cover is not intended to hang or support the knife; there is another hole built-in the knife for this. The hole in the cap is intended for cap storage when it’s not magnetized to the knife.

Knife to be secured with an end bolt (in the 4mm hole) or glued to the plastic grip to prevent slippage from the casing.

No supports, assemble and ready to use after the print. Printed in PETG. Not tested with PLA.
